I love to travel, to meet new people, experience new cultures, explore cherished places, savor new delights, and spread a little aloha around the world. I've traveled with friends and family, and every journey has had its challenges, and highlights. Every experience has its learning curve. This will be my first study abroad experience, and I'm apprehensive, yet anxious to begin, yet I'm not quite sure of what to expect. However, I am confident that this program will be expose me to the true culture of Ireland, and as always, I will enjoy the journey along the way. Did I mention that I'm new to blogging? Very new, and not all too comfortable with the experience so far. Who's going to read all this stuff, and what will they think? Oh well, part of the journey. A few facts about myself. I'm married to Les; have two children and two grandchildren. There's Tiffani (Ka'aina) and grandson 'Aekai; Chad (Mariann) and granddaughter Sami. I teach Hospitality and Tourism at Kauai Community College; love to travel, and hope to visit every continent on earth. I've got Antarctica left on the list. I've traveled to about seventeen countries around the world, and yet, there's so much more on the bucket list. Here's to another great adventure!
